I get people loving fifa and everyone should have their preferences. But you love it and dont buy it every year, how a esport game should be. Its not like its a diferent game from last year, they dont even improove the fisics all that much to be notisable. Its just a few characters moded, to look slighty diferent, maybe some new characters, maybe diferent clothes but this is not new game content, this is barely DLC content. Actually they are a lot more different than you think. After playing the new one for a while if you go back to an older one you really do notice a big different.

Besides, the player transfers alone are pretty much worth it

If you where going from last gen to current gen then I would agree with you, Otherwise then no, its not worth it.
