As much as i love Bioware, that would be the point of no return. Many years of a good EA would be necessary for me to even ponder buying a EA console.
Wether it would sell well, it probably dependsvon third party support. Monopoly practice on the sports titles though. They would probably be forced to let go of any exclusive deals.
Most of all it would foster competition on sports titles as the other platform holders would develop alternative sports titles. EA would lose alot of software sales.
