Don't forget the preorders, it's not just first week sales. When preorders were first announced Xbox One was in the top 5 on both Amazon Japan and Yodobashi Camera for about a week. Plus there were more preorders in the weeks since then when Xbox One was ranked a bit lower.

Oh, I'm sure it will do fine, but comparing it to the PS4's current sales isn't flattering to the Xbox One launch. :)

Like I said, its morning over there now so shops are opening up and we should begin to see the lines.  This is what I meant.   I assume most of these folks already have a preorder.
