We're seeing this a lot in sports, as with Micheal Sam or Tim Tebow, where the media and all the white-knighting actually create the problem. If it wasn't for people getting upset and overreacting about everything, there would be a lot less to get upset and overreact about. I really wish more people would stop letting the media and/or groups with agendas manipulate them. We're developing into a culture that feasts on pseudo-outrage when we're told to do so. It's painful to watch. |
