I agree Nintendo it is their fault, but disagree as to how it's their fault. Most third party games simply can't compete with Nintendo's games (generally speaking). Some have even admitted this. Nintendo's natural ability to make quality games is a double edged sword..
I fail to see how Nintendo is difficult to work with.. This isn't the NES days.. Nintendo (As far as I know) has no restrictions on the amount of games a dev can release, has really loosened up on censorship lately, and have made every console since the N64 extremely easy to develop for. They have also become a big platform and supporter for indie devs.
