I don't know why those would be poor scores, but maybe that's because i don't belive in the notion that Famitsu scores are paid like some think! Not everthing needs to be a 10 out of 10 or 40 out of 40 in this case 
Also Dead Rising 3 and Forza have good scores.

Famitsu is a pay to display mag. Meaning that anything that gets any worthwhile (multiple pages) coverage is because the publisher is paying for it, not that famitsu is just reporting information sent and choosing itself how many pages to devote.
Historically anything that gets major coverage also gets very high scores. So while scores are not directly paid for, things are clearly not unbiased.

You're right, but isn't that the same as any big gaming website in the west. IGN, Gamespot, Gametrailers, Eurogamer and many others!
