Throw in things that are likely to come like Youkai Watch 3 and Monster Hunter 5, and that system will own Japan I think in the future. Casual gamers, females, and a chunk of the kids market will go tablet/smartphone only. That will basically be the entire Japanese game market in about 4 years time. |
Until that uncertain time, it looks like the PS4 is the place to go if you're into home console gaming in Japan. A japanese gamer, and who could blame them, wouldn't want to miss out on the next main FF, RE, MGS, KH, DQ and looks like you can add GTA to this list too.
