I gained 31 VR points. The 12th place was -22 and I was so frustrated during the races afterwards...

Oh, and the early race at the Mario Kart Stadium where I went from 1st with a huge lead to 10th in the last round...

The new (since the update) skill point attribution is pretty brutal. I had a pretty good run today, maybe 4-5 firsts, a few seconds and thirds in ten races, but an eight and ninth meant I ended up with less points than I started.

Did the skill point attribution change after the update? I figured it was just because my points total was getting higher, that is was progressively getting harder to raise it... Anyway, yeah, it's rather savage - even if you place high in a quite a few races, coming in 10th or lower or so in a single race will leave you with less points than you started with.
