You know what, let's say this happened, I don't think this is part of a new trend... Most police officers are white, often in "black" neighboorhood, they often harrass blacks (and other minorities) on a daily basis, and this is not just kids in hoodies, I have black coleagues dressed in full office work attire that get 'questioned' about why they stand near a metro station (you know where people usually wait for people), some muslim coleague who get followed all the way home by some police car).

I never experienced that sort of things from the police, maybe some attitude I did not like whenpulled over for speeding, but that's it, if you're white they generally give you the benefit of the doubt, unless you are homeless... There is a serious problem with how the police interact with a lot of minorities, and it should be remedied.
