Your memory really doesn't serve you well then.  :P.  I've actually replayed the games and yeah, not very good.  I guess I thought they were cool because I was really into DBZ back then, but the DBZ fighters that released in the west are some of the worst fighters ever developed.

Gundam Battle Assault 2 though, like you mentioned.  Amazing game.  Worlds of difference between how good that one is and the DBZ Ultimate Battle 22 and DBGT Final Bout.  Ultimate Battle 22 is the better of the two.

LOL i guess you are right, maybe i was to much into the DBZ hype train (back in the day), or maybe its because i had little to no experience with fighting games back then.

also on another note, i would much rather get a new Gundam Battle Assault 3 (for PS3 or PS4) than the 7th Dinasty warriors gundam...
