I would like to see other (new) characters in future Infamous games as the concept seems to be less about one individual character, but rather how the instance of super powers would effect the life decisions of individuals who suddenly find themselves with such abilities.
As much as I liked Delsin, and wouldn't mind playing another game as him, playing through First Light made me realize it wasn't the characters alone that made me enjoy the Infamous series, which is something that should have hit me as I was playing Second Son. I was surprised the decision was made to kill Cole in Infamous 2 as I had grown to like the character after two games, but the "reboot" worked for me well enough that Second Son became my favorite of the franchise.
