FFXII shows a continuing decline in the quality of original FF games being produced by Square. While their spin offs are perfectly fine, the main series games seem to be getting worse and worse with each title.

Maybe because they are not on your console of choice?

You're the one who brought up the Sony as a factor in the first place, not I, "maybe because they're not on the console of your choice?"
You suggested I don't like them because they're on the Sony PlayStation 2. I countered this and called you out on your trolling. You, yes you, made this a pissing contest about consoles when before I had only ever talked about Square-Enix so don't try and play innocent now. And please don't play innocent about your Sony bias, just because you own all three doesn't change the fact 90% of your posts are attacking the Wii or defending Sony.
Knock off the trolling, its getting old.

You should check my posts, I never attack the Wii as a system and you should see my contributions in all 3 forums and the fact that there are games that I can't wait to have on all 3 before you throw around these fake numbers that you just pulled out your ass...

I defend Sony the most because it's the one that gets attacked the most, simple reason: I don't like the rabid anti Sony atmosphere that occures sometimes.

You're right, you just troll certain franchises (Madden) :P

As for that whole conversation y'all are having, it's just silly.  You made a pretty stupid comment (no offense, but it was) and she called you out on it.

As for FFXII, I don't think it's a bad game, it did a lot of things right, but it also did a lot of things wrong (mainly the beginning and the damn license system).  To date, FFXII does have the best combat system (VIII's was interesting, but drawing was annoying and just wasn't fun after a while) and so far does look the best.  I absolutely loved the fact that I actually felt like I was playing an MMO while walking through the towns.  Despite all that, I just didn't like FFXII because FF games should be about the story and characters first and XII just didn't do a great job on that.  The beginning of the game did a bad job of drawing the player in.  Even VIII did a great job at drawing players in with their wonderful cut scenes and immediatly showing you the good guyy, the bad guy, and who they're fighting over (my skipping VIII earlier was just poking fun at it because it is my personal least favorite of the main series).
