Will New 3DS/3DS XL Boost 3DS sales?

Personally i wouldn't, If it makes them some money per unit, i do a price cut for both 3ds/xl and then fade out just the 3ds and keep XL not being discontinued!

Honestly they should phase out all the old models in my view , they really do not need more market confusion than they already have with wii/wiiu (heck even ds/3ds still confuses some people) Its a shame because I bought the original 3ds, than an XL, and now I will buy this but I am not sure most people in the market are quite as dedicated as I am .
