This has nothing to do with ALS, it's to do with large charities. The person who runs British Red Cross earns £180k (apparently), to put that in perspective, the UK Prime Minister earns £143k (of course UK government wages are messed up as well, Police Chief earns more). We had an issue last year with this in the UK due to these wages of charities and they had to defend themselves. Oxfam said that they money they pay their COE is lower than they could get in the private firms but they have to earn it and their wages are usually earned as reward for earning the big bucks, charities get given the money so the money isn't meant to be a reward, the work is meant to be.
