Yes, the ps3 was stronger than the Xbox 360. But first off all it was harder to develop for the ps3 and secondly why would a company change the lead platform half way through.

EA's other games look better on the PS4 because they were developed on the PS4 first. This one was developed on the Xbox One first. It doesn't get any simpler than that.
