Only difference I see visually is lens flare.
And implementing lens flare is easy and not very costly operation.
Its mostly overly textures moving in accordance with sun's position and camera position.
If microsoft paid EA to make game look better on X1 and PS4. They might have used better post processing effects.
It can also be like sony asked EA to remove it because its distracting.
I don't think EA is so stupid to do something this stupid. Already gaming community has bad faith in them.
(Then again its EA you never know.)
