I still haven't gotten round to play the Wii version of this yet. And quite frankly, I don't really want to play it on Wii. I was thinking of Dolphin'ing it.

Now I can play on 3DS! And I haven't bought a 3DS yet, so I'm not going to have to trade it in for a new model!

You're in for a treat, Xenoblade is great, I chose to play it with the pro classic controller (I had the LE set that included the red one) which IMO is the best way to play the game.

Does this new 3DS have dual analogue? They may manage to lure me back over to the thing if it has that and comes somewhere close to Vita. 3DS was far to underpowered, the fact that they can't get a port of Xenoblade to run on it, when the Wii was a slightly beefed up GameCube confirms this entirely and 1 analogue stick utterly ruins most standard gaming genres. (I also hated many PSP games due to this).

If they're fixing both those I do have hope for somewhere to migrate when Vita releases dry up. I also hope they beef up the resolution of the screen to at least 480p.

The only other thing they'd need to address then is the overpricing of the hardware. £200 is an utter joke for a 3DS XL when it doesn't even include a charger plug for that and people moan about Vita memory card prices (when it's £135 for a Vita with 10 games and a 16gb memory card). They definitely need to launch sub £200 and the equivalent pricing elsewhere.

So yeah... I might finally get back into 3DS gaming if they don't mess this up.
