I don't know enough about Anita personally to say if your accusations are true but other than lying about games, none of that is really relevant to the arguments shes making in her videos. And if she is making a killing on youtube, I say good for her. In a world where people like pewdiepie can make millions, why shouldn't she be making money? Shes actually putting out thought provoking content as opposed to the iq destroying content that is so common on youtube.
I'm not sure I understand your analogy to the fps make children kill comments. I understand why gamers hate when people claim that games are responsible for crazy people doing crazy things but that is totally different from what Sarkeesian is doing in her videos. She isn't calling for legislation to ban sexist video games she is just bringing to light examples of sexism in games. And as she says in most of her videos "It is entirely possible to enjoy a peice of media while also criticizing it's more pernicious elements." I think that may be the root of the problem. People seem to think Sarkeesian is asking them to feel guilty for enjoying video games and noone likes being asked to feel guilty about their hobby. Shes not asking anyone to feel guilty, she really is just pointing out lazy tropes in video games. This can only be a good thing. I hope game developers get more creative and stop relying on the same tired tropes.
