I'm sure many will argue this point, but I think TimeSplitters would be well suited to the Wii audience and would become THE FPS to get on Wii, as oppose to one of many, many FPS on PS3/360. I think this must be a really hard decision for Free Radical. Do you put it to Wii and possibly get ignored, or put it to PS3/360 and possibly get lost in the crowd? There's more FPS fans on HD systems, but much higher costs involved too and extremely harsh competition vs none at all on Wii. It'll be interesting to see which way they ultimately go with this. |
I also think that less serious style of some portions of the game make it more suitable for the Wii. All the "hardcore" gamers with masculinity issues may have some inhibitions playing a game that's had monkeys as playable characters in the series before. That's really just my wishful thinking, though, there, because I'd really love for TS4 to be exclusively developed for the Wii. I want to see a quality nonWWII shooter on the Wii badly.
