Wii owner here - well, technically it's my son's but anyway. We have definately strongly considered getting a 360 or PS3 but the 360 has FAR more games we're interested in (WPRGs for me, Crackdown, GTAIV, GoW, Halo 3, Etc. for him) than PS3 (umm... no exclusives of interest at all currently).
However several factors have prevented a purchase:
Price
RRoD
Having to pay for online
For me the fact that all the WRPGs will come to PC anyway
I don't have enough time to even play though the Wii/PC games I have now.
Noisy (especially with a cooling fan).
Ugly (seriously, I don't want to look at it all day)
Too many jerk-off kids online
No HDtv
But I have many of the some problems with PS3 including reliability issues. My brother has one and crashes if it gets too hot and the load times are awful. I'm not impressed with it at all.
