If it isn't running on Wii U-based hardware it'll take a while to port. Older Tekkens were ported quickly because they run on playstation-based arcade boards.
Despite that Tekken 6 took two years to port and it wasn't a HD game (on the other hand they added extra content, but still), and the team is working on Tekken vs. Street Fighter and Tekken 7 too.
