This game has been in developement for at least a year. Most likely longer. I've looked at the releases of past Tekken games and I've noticed some things:

1.) Tekken 5 had only like 3-4 months between it's arcade release and it's console release. That means that we may not have to wait too long for the eventual Wii U port.

2.) Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is already on the Wii U. If this game is using the same engine, it may make porting a little easier.

3.) It's probably only coming to Wii U, which means they'd only have to focus on porting one version.

4.) Many of these games seem to be released on consoles world wide in stead of in Japan first. Tekken 6 actually came out on consoles in the US before Japan.

Don't take any of this as gospel, but it's very realistic for this game to release in Japanese arcades very early in 2015 (like February/March) and then release on the Wii U world wide in July or August, or more than likely September if they really want huge sales.
