What drive do you have in yours? Is it a Benq? Those are the quietest drives for the 360. If you check the link I posted earlier you can compare to see what is in yours.
You may not be used to the loudness of the 360. I've been listening to my old Core system for over a year now and I'm not just exaggerating how much quieter my Elite(new) sounds compared to it. Its a huge difference. If you haven't really used a 360 before you might be surprised at how loud it can be. Especially, the older ones. |

But i have to say thay it's a lot louder than both the PS3 and the Wii combined ^^ Whatever, as long as i enjoy the games... |

Well you can also do a visual comparison, too. I think my old Core 360 had the Samsung drive and my new Elite has the Benq drive.
