That argument could almost be made, IF the Battle Mode didn't suck complete fucking ass. But it does, it was a lazy, unthought-out, tacked on afterthought. EVERY other MK game ever has had Battle Arenas. Even shitty Double Dash, and even Wii had awesome arenas, even if the "team only" thing made it suck.
So until they "Fix" that by adding even ONE real arena stage (see: Block Fort), then MK64 is still the best MK ever made.
