I still can't find a favorite MK. MK8 has great driving and great tracks but weapon balance is not that great, the CPU sucks and cheat, plus the battle mode is terrible.
I think Mario Kart DS did everything right except for driving (snaking), my ideal MK would be a mix of MK8 and MKDS. I'll add my ideal MK should have locked 60fps in 3-4 splitscreen.
