LOL, you mean they extend a service you can't use because there product broke? How giving :p
I am sure this has more to do with a legal fight if they didn't, then anything else.
To chime in on the OP... I have a 360, yet I don't like to use it because it's loud, and I never know if it's the last time its going to work. It's a launch system, so if it breaks, I currently have no plans on replacing it.
That being said, if they came out with one that had better reliability, and is a lot quieter, I would play mine more often (because then I don't care if it breaks, because I have reason to get a new one anyway).
I know, strange logic :)
