All judgements aside, I'm saying that parents sometimes make choices (even if they may seem extreme to some) that they think will lead to their child leading a successful life.
Also, to clarify for those who have seen it, neck refers to the neck of my shirt, not the neck itself. I don't know that I would have reacted positively if I ever felt I was being physically abused by my parents.
Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.
