That's why I don't understand what they are actually suing for, surely that kind of stuff isn't patentable.... right?

You can sue for anything, you will just lose the lawsuit, but you can try. I will sue you for using pictures on your avatar and using your fingers to type words in foruns. I have being doing it for years and now I want 10% of all you gain doing it.
