Last gen one of the reasons PS3 lost consumer interest was because sony went out and portrayed as in all in one media device, and it wasnt succesful. this gen microsoft built its machine to be the ultimate all in one device, and the result is well known by now. whats interesting is that when it comes to other consume products like a cellphone, laptop, tablet, an all in device is very much prefered. why isnt it the case with gaming consoles?

personally for me i want a machine built around gaming with some DLNA features, and i am all set. but this thread isnt about personal prefrences, its about the market in general not desiring an "all in one entertainment system"?
