At this point, I kinda just hope Capcom fritter away their money in litigation and go under.
They just don't seem good at anything anymore, other than re-releasing games a zillion times until they're milked bone dry. The few decent attempts they've had at cultivating "new" games in the past few years (DMC; Dragon's Dogma; MonHun 4) seem to pale in comparison to their 4th re-releases of Street Fighter IV or Monster Hunter Tri etc.
This feels like a pointless lawsuit. I'm no patent lawyer, but I don't feel like they have much of a case here.
