Of course you downplay it and say it's not a major step forward. MS didn't announce such a headset afterall. Illumiroom on the other hand... That must be a major step forward, right?

 

And, by the way, VR sets could work wonders in online multi player FPS games. 

 

I don't see it as a major step forward either, guess its because sony announced it and certainly not because of my own thoughts.

I can see it working for driving games quite well but if you're seriously into driving games you probably have a Wheel setup that would be difficult to use with a headset on. For other games being close to a big screen can already take up most of my vision. I just don't see this being anything more than a niche product.
