I tryed VR 20 years ago.. on a "Arcade machine" size VR system.. we where to players.. in a vr world a perfect look allround world (i would say like snes graphic)
Meaning thats just nonsense.. the problem is not to run theese "worlds"
The problem is the glasses.. they need to make the perfect (cheap) setup.. gyro.motion.tracking.no lag.screen.algorytm.. and games (best of vr mechanics.. view, swors don't work.. guns and "the force" do.. and so)
