It's difficult to say because we still don't know exactly what Amiibo will do. So far, all we know is that you can make custom characters in Smash. If that's all they do, then I think Amiibo will be a massive failure, but we know they will do more. Once we figure out exactly what they do, then I think we'll get a better sense of how popular they'll be.
