The only differentiating factor is its stream capability but do realise that the controller costs an extra 60 bucks, and to stream game at 1080p@60FPS, you'll need a desktop PC with at least GTX 660 equipped.

It has a streaming service buillt in without the need of having a laptop with a Gtx card built in, also other services such as onlive can be used.

I hope you realize that you will almost certainly need to be on the same wi-fi connection as your PC to stream games. And, at that point, since you are in the house already, why not just use the PC?
