This. The thread is smaller because 1. there are less Xbox people here and 2. it didn't affect seemingly a single person here, assuming there was even an issue at all. Compared to hours and hours of downtime.

I was on all day yesterday with no issues.  Except Diablo III which is connected to Blizzard's Battlenet...

This is why I like Live over PSN.  MS knows how to deal with this stuff as DDoS and hacker attackers are what they deal with every day.  I don't care about the free games.  If I can't play because a network is down the games are worth nothing.
