I honestly would just wait until the Nexus 8. Better screen (rumored 2560x1600 or 2048 x 1440), 8MP camera, a 64-bit Nvidea K1 processor, and 3/4GB of RAM. All for around the same price.

(Plus expandable storage and an HTC designed casing)

But will it have the streaming service or ports of pc games, which make the nvidia shield tablet the ultimate gaming tablet.

"Ports of PC games"---> almost all of those games are easily played on even weaker PCs, and are less expensive through Steam due to sales and such.

"streaming service"---> If you have a PC, why not use it? Playing on a 8 inch tablet is is a cramped experience compared to just playing the game normally on a monitor.

Honestly, the allure of tablets is not the ability to emulate PCs, like the Nvidea tablet, but to supplement them in different ways. Google has done that the best with their Nexus line.
