But you can resell/trade the PS4 game, but the £25 you put into a digital code, youre never going to see again.

On consoles, I could buy a game on release play it and trade it and keep doing that with atleast 6-8 games over the length of a year before the game I'm left with is no longer worth much.

Even if you take a game like FIFA, they sell for a good £25 (on PS4/X1) privately which means after playing it the whole year , youve only spent £20 (£45-£25). I dont think youre going to get a digital code near launch for that price.

I tend not to resell my games unless I'm buying a remaster or something, so I'd rather just get them for a good price in the first place. I got Bioshock Infinite for £27 on release from GMG and it came with a free copy of Xcom and Spec Ops and I still play it to this day.

I'm happy you've found a system that works for you, but It's a bit too transient for me personally.

Fair enough. But all im saying is that with physical you get the option. With digital, youre stuck with them regardless of your preference.

My friend bought COD MW3 on PC on launch and played it for a couple of days but didnt like it... but he was stuck with it. Cant sell it, cant give it to a friend, cant do anything because its locked to his account.

On the other hand, I bought GTA V for PS3, only briefly played it and then a couple of months later the next gen version was announced, so I sold it and still got £18 back. I originally planned to keep it, but when I changed my mind, the option to sell was always there.
