I get this strange feeling he knew you were going to see it anyway. I don't think it'd be that much different if he replied straight to your post. It would look more random and insensitive actually.

Talking about someone as if he's not there even though you know exactly that he's going to see it anyway is one of the rudest things you can do.

I guess that's probably what he was thinking. I just didn't see it that way.

People on the internet are going to be rude. There's no real way to fix that.
