ROFL, if it were that easy com, panies like Amazon, the gov would not always go down from them...Sorry a DDOS is just an overload of http requests, there is no wya od distinguish , lol at your modem can stop DDOS, yet billion dollar orgs cannopt stop it.
The onyl to to fully stop DDOS is end packets being received which means no one can connect....Yoy don;t have a clue what you are talking about. It is not hitting just 1 server, ever hear of a server cluster?...your knowledge of this is embarassing. |
A router can rate limit witch is basic functionality used to stop DDos. It's obviously not on the same scale...... I never said it's hitting one server. Please, Sony would have cleaning centers that handle traffic and should reject bad packets. You change from DDos can't be stopped to it can only be stopped in this way. But there are a lot of orevention methods, and yea there is ways to distinguish packets, packets are labeled with destination and sender IP address as well as time till death. Low level DDos attacks will be guaranteed caught if the sender ip is detected over and over again.
