Obviosuly reported you for the insult but yes, I know what is a DDOS attack and I know that you can protect about it.
You seem to have a lot of faith in Google, please just use it and search for DDOS attack protection. There are many way (require some work and a good infratructure) to mitigate it big time.

And if you really know what a DDOS attack is, then you should also know that Google (who does not have the most servers out there as you said) (Amazon, Azure and a lot of others says "hi") is not immune in anyway, they just have the proper infrastructure to handle it.
