Probably a start up group that wanted some of the attention that anonymous get. They obviously weren't good at it one got caught from what I read and the penalty is actually quite big (upto 10 years) he will give up his friends sooner or later. PC 'nerds' probably won't mix in prison (at least not in the way they want...)
