Heroes season 1 is brilliant, if they had ended it there I would probably rate it as highly as some other one season wonders (Firefly, Wonderfalls). Season 2 was still enjoyable, but a bit of a let down. I have tried 3 times now to get through season 3 but I tire of it about 1/3rd of the way in, I haven't seen anything after s3 ep12.
If you ever go back to it I would suggest ignoring anything after season 1, it's not worth it.
