Maybe Cobretti is right, and that Nintendo titles don't drop in price as fast as third party ones. So if you want a Nintendo title it will cost around the same next year, meanwhile the third party one will already be 3.5 times less. Still doesn't explain why people then don't buy them at bargain bin prices?

Easily explained by elitist nintendo fanboism, those games will never be good enough for some even at $4.99 or hell even as a free gift they likly take it to gamespot and get rif of it.

In some sense you are absolutely right about this.

I usually buy all my 3rd party games at full price (well good ones that are within the hardware capabilities).  Ones that purposely are missing content (not DLC but actual game been stripped), or worst than the previous game in the series as in removed features, or something like dead space 3 which relies on the previous games story line to really enjoy i will skip (well i have it on my 360 anyway lol).

B/C grade games that are still enjoyable i will pickup from the bargain bin when they usually 50%-75% off within few months. This applies on all platforms obviously not just Wii U for me.
