You already admitted that there is no proof whatsoever of quid-pro-quo, only conjecture, so what is the point of continuing a thread where you asked why "anyone would defend" Quinn? The big question is why anyone is talking about her in the first place, and the answer is that it helps a bunch of bored teenagers be less bored.


Right so all the other threads on reddit and TheEscapists and other forums are just clones of the /v/ and /pol/ posts, interesting theory you have but I am afraid it requires more than just pointing fingers.

So is the proof going to fall from the sky and give the internet the answer? Zoey is innocent until proven gulity and people are trying to find convincing enough evidence to prove she is gulity. And Zoey so far as done nothing but insult, hide, point fingers and destorying discussion about the possibility that yes she was sleeping with these guys to get ahead in the industry which questions her, does that to you sound like a completely innocent person? There is definitely more to this story. Oh and she's just a nobody right? She WAS a nobody, the media has her in their spotlight, articles written about her everyday, she is now the new postergirl for people mistreated by the sexist video game industry. Zoey Quinn is now SOMEBODY and I guarantee you this is not the last time you will hear from her.

I don't give a sh*t what goes on at reddit and TheEscapists to be honest. 4chan and VGchartz are the only places I frequent who are caught up in the Quinn "controversy". Maybe this is a big deal on bodybuilding.com and somethingawful too, maybe it will have it's very own ytmnd page. Fact is that this started out with Quinn's betrayed boyfriend writing online that she fucked a Kotaku journalist behind her boyfriends back, AFTER the journalist had given her some publicity in a piece about indie developers. And then the journalist never wrote anything about her from that point on. (Note that journalists are perfectly free to fuck whoever they like, they just can't keep working with them once they've done it. So there is literally no proof of anything unethical taking place at all UNLESS someone can prove they fucked before he wrote about her. Which no one has been able to do)

That's it, that's the whole thing. That's what /pol/ took and got the ball rolling, and after two weeks of discussing this completely uninteresting no-name untalented indie developer, that's still all that is known about her supposed corruption of Video Game Journalism by fucking.

The only reason this person has e-fame now is because people like you give it to her.

Now I ask you, why do you defend Zoey Quinn? The fact that the only threads you have posted in here on VGC are about her is very interesting indeed. If you think she's a nobody, why do you care?
