There is absolutely no worries now selnor, the Xbox 360 that are available right now, have a 65nm CPU which reduces a sum of heat in the XBox 360. Which helps the fans pull more of the 90nm GPU heat out more. I have a Xbox 360 Arcade which has the 65nm CPU and my discs come out cool, not hot like the launch Xbox 360 were.
I was just like you at the beginning, I even bought an Nyko Intercooler to help cool it but found out it breaks the Xbox 360.
I would just go out and purchase a Xbox 360 Arcade. All Arcades have the 65nm CPU and the 90nm GPU. If you want to wait till the GPU goes to 65nm then wait till August when the Jasper motherboards should be released.
