It's been tough being a person who grew up with Spyro & Crash watching what has become of them.
The complete mis-handling of both IP's since they left Sony's hands is just a travesty.
I will say that both Spyro & Crash had two flawed-but-okay games after leaving Sony.
Enter the Dragonfly would've been a good game had it not been so glitchy. A Hero's Tail was actually a good platformer, I just didn't like the changes they made to the characters in it.
Similarly, The Wrath of Cortex was a decent game marred by terrible load times. Twinsanity was actually a really decent attempt at a Crash platformer.
Everything since then... my word, what a great way to squander all the goodwill the IP's had.
I will say that I'm not sure I believe his Spyro claims. May 2013 was after two Skylanders games had been released and had been outstanding successes. I find it hard to believe that they were producing a more traditional Spyro game for so long afterwards.
