Really stupid article.

You know who else is against "sexualizing" women? The Taliban, ISIS, Saudi Arabia etc. where women have to cover themselves from head to toe so as not to arouse male libidos.

Nothing wrong with sexualizing women or men, but why must it always be the inevitable norm to sexualize a woman in videogames? The video game industry could learn alot from how women are depicted in movies like the Terminator or Aliens.

Metroid has sadly lost its former glory, in large part thanks to this mentality that a women cant be strong without being sexy.

I'm glad you agree that it's ok to display the human figure in games, it's in keeping with a long tradition in art going back to the Greeks.

On that note, Kratos sports a very revealing costume that shows off his male assets quite effectively. Same goes for Snake's skin tight sneak suit and Zangiefs bulging briefs.

That's all about the power fantasies that surrounds quite a few games. Being a bad ass and looking the part is a rather big part of why those games sell as well as they do.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
