I never seen such a big news about this sort of topic on gaming before. Is this sort of thing relatively new?

And if the thread starter is banned, maybe the mod can change the thread title if its inaccurate.

Because generally when men in the gaming industry cheat or take sexual bribes, it's not news worthy and no one cares.

But despite the fact there is no evidence that she did anything unethical or tried to bribe journalists, the internet and gaming community are villifying this woman. And then taking this as an opportunity to bash women and feminism. It's really nothing more than misogny in the gaming community rearing its ugly head. Nothing about this story has anything to do with feminism or feminists, but the comments in this thread prove that feminism is still relevant and needed.

If she did indeed cheat on her boyfriend, that's a personal issue between them as a couple. That's none of our business. Neither is the amount of sexual partners she has. If she did try to bribe the journalists then yes, she is responsible for unethical behavior - but the journalists should also be held responsible as well.
