Threads like this are the reason. People on VGC need to respect women more and women will come. I hope this thread gets locked. 

Why the fuck should people respect women just because they're women?, respect is earned not given freely, don't confuse common decency with respect, and for the love of god, don't make the mistake of thinking a thread being locked is going to make a shred of difference, at all, to wether or not women actually come here.

But please, do tell me what exactly about this thread, is "the reason women don't come here", i'll gladly listen to that reason.

I didn't mean respecting women on here because they're women. I meant being more sensitive and not posting disrespectful things like this. 

The OP's wording and tone came off as sexist (at least it did to me), and when things like that go unchecked, it doesn't look good on the site. SqueakySamurai was banned for another sexist post, but still, the OP.
