But with CoD appearing to be on a decline perhaps the rise of the sci-fi shooter is upon us and Destiny can climb while CoD slips. I think AW could be the lowest selling CoD of the modern warfare era. Though perhaps Ghosts will be that because it came out with effectively a zero install base on new gen PS/Xbox. Still CoD has clearly lost some of its major, and probably permanently so. |
They need to start resting the call of duty franchise, do a every other year approach. There are obvious signs of franchise fatigue here. Of course, activision likes to push these franchises into the ground, so they will just keep milking it until it runs dry and then move on to the next franchise...
